Founded in 2020, Taymour Grahne Projects is a London-based gallery providing a space to discover emerging, mid-career, and historically overlooked artists.
With a mission to seek out and showcase the most exciting talent in contemporary art, the gallery presents an ambitious physical and online exhibition programme, continually featuring new international artists. Creating a platform for their discovery, Taymour Grahne Projects introduces artists to new audiences. The gallery also maintains a small, dedicated roster of ‘collaborative artists’ - those who Taymour works with on a longer-term basis.
By moving away from the traditional artist representation model, and by inviting collaboration with artists, curators, and other galleries, Taymour Grahne Projects ushers in a new way of working - one that is fluid, intuitive, and ultimately supportive of artist career growth.
In 2021, the gallery opened its third London gallery space ‘The Artist Room by Taymour Grahne Projects.’ Located in a gem-sized building at 52 Lonsdale Road, in the heart of Notting Hill, the new space is down the road from the gallery’s current Notting Hill space. The new space, an extension of the programming offered by Taymour Grahne Projects, will be dedicated to exhibiting solo, focused presentations from contemporary artists who work across a variety of mediums, including ceramics, drawings, installations, as well as paintings. The exhibitions at ‘The Artist Room by Taymour Grahne Projects’ will be augmented by an online component to each show, creating a hybrid online/IRL exhibition space.
With three locations in Notting Hill and Holland Park, the gallery is also a place for art world talks and conversations, screenings, and art book signings.
